My academic background focused on Statistics and Econometrics. For this reason, I started my carrier as statistician (now it would be called data scientist) but the adrenalin of the ICT channel soon attracted me.
I spent the first half of my professional carrier in operations in the IT distribution sector.
Now I want to help ICT Company in reaching Operational Excellence.
I covered different roles with local and international distributors:
– Business Developer: starting business from scratch up to 8 million euro in one year:
– Product management: managing all relation with the vendor, internal operations and integration centre, sales functions and keep direct contact with some key customers;
– Asset manager: managing a team of inventory controller for 20 million euro with direct responsibility toward the Vice president operations and direct contact with Logistic manager, quality manager, integration centre manager, material manager and finance manager.
For the second half of my professional carrier, I want to merge the experience acquired in different operational units with my strong interest in change and risk management in order to help organization to implement their strategy through continuous improvement and/or disruptive innovation.
In this blog, I would like to share the best practice I learnt through case studies.
Of course, for confidentiality reasons, I will mask some of the data reported in these cases.
Finally, I hope that I will be able to get your feedback and learn about your best practices.
Thanks for your attention
